Absolutely too fast driving in those conditions accidents will happen. Good lesson for others to see and learn from. Glad everyone was ok.

Truck driver did a great job allowing this rv driver to live by controlling his rig on ice

Glad you are all ok, but you were driving way to fast for those conditions. Hard lesson learned. Thank you for sharing this hopefully it will sink in with others.
I have a 2019 REDWOOD 5TH Wheel and I tow it all over Montana and Idaho. I have made mistakes a swell.

My father told me to drive like I had no breakes, in winter conditions. You can see why, in this video.

Word of advice if I may, my parents have been full time RVers for almost 10 years now and I know for sure they wouldn't have traveled in that weather and we're Canadian hahah. Your house is on wheels, you have no reason not to find somewhere safe to pull off and wait it out. I'm glad you guys are okay! Things definitely could have been much worse. Full time traveling is the best, I've spent plenty of time with my parents on the road. I can't wait to get a rig of my own and start full-timing myself.

There's a towing lesson to all of us in this video. Thanks for posting.

Dude’s lucky to have been in relatively good condition and not turned over. You can’t put extra weight behind you and proceed at highway speeds around corners like that - obviously. The weight behind you counteracts your ability to gain traction and if you tap your breaks on slick ground you will lose your ability to maintain control around a corner. Glad everyone is ok. I felt terrible for the child in the back who thought they just watched their father potentially die from a vehicle accident.

Drive slower in those conditions, please.

This is why I drive very slow even if it does make people behind upset.

That kid is really smart: "Stay inside and call dad" ....sound advise in the snow. Glad everyone was ok!

Praise God it was an inside turn. The next corner was on the outside of the hill side. It showed that the trailer pushed the truck on the slick roads. Hope and pray all are fine and look forward to the full video and details. I lived in Sunset Utah for eight years. I have traveled that stretch of road many times. know how fast the weather system can change.

Hope your all ok, and in conditions like snow and ice you must chain up, and slow way down! This could of been much worse!

I hope you all were ok, sorry about your camper and truck.. I had a trailer push me off the road once in winter.. terrrifying experience! Now I CRAWL when the weather is rough, better to be late and in one piece than late and wrecked!! Happy trails 😁

My father always told me, “it’s not what happens, it’s how you handle what happens”. This too shall pass, I hope it’s not how it ends. Happy trails. ✌🏻🇺🇸

Sorry to see that, your daughter's reaction put a lump in my throat, she's so worried about her dad.

Hope everyone was ok after this. Gotta take it slow especially in conditions like this. It's definitely a scary feeling.

Sorry to see this...I went through some similar conditions in Tennessee last week. It went from sunny dry road to steep snowy curves. The GPS took me over a mountain pass that had no shoulder and no passing lane. I had to go very slow and cautious. I had a mile of cars behind me, but I didn't give a $hit as I didn't want to go thru what you just did. I'm glad no one got hurt.
Advice... never let the GPS plan your route for you when RVING!

That was scary to watch. I have a smaller travel trailer that I pull with my half ton, and I'm very aware of its weight under normal circumstances, I don't think I would have challenged the weather that day. Glad you are all ok, vehicles can be replaced. Very disappointing to see motorists not stop after witnessing that.
