From the Present-Day Saint podcast

"0021 - In this episode Aaron Shafovaloff and I do a final debate breakdown of his debate with Kwaku El. In this episode we look at Part 3 of the debate - Are Families Forever? We talk about the LDS view of eternity and how that compares to the Biblical view. We talk about what marriage is and why there will not be marriage in the eternal state as opposed to the LDS view. We go into the weeds a few times on this episode into some really interesting topics. We finish up by addressing some the questions that came up during the Q and A period at the end of the debate. You will be smarter after listening to Aaron (the other Aaron) for two hours."

Kwaku has posted a new video in which he states he is moving towards leaving LDS apologetics to pursue creative endeavors. My take? He has been embarrassed too many times in these debates due to his glaring lack of education and knowledge when it comes to Christian theology and doctrine. The more important take? I believe he has come under pressure from either his local bishop or a higher up to can his style of "apologetics." I continue to pray that Jesus will be Kwaku's savior and not his judge.

Peer feedback: the audio quality on this was REALLY nice. Thanks for taking the time to produce such high quality content. It matters a lot for a 2.5 hr piece.

Thanks for this content, I hope your family's healthy and blessed, I studied my but off without really caring about religion for awhile and came to a belief that I've realized matches pretty close to christianity, the view I had from growing up active and was fed to me wasn't even close to how you represent yourself(preaching to the choir I bet) thanks for everything.

The Bible came first and it can be true without the Book of Mormon.. Vice versa is not possible. Jesus is true. Let God be true and every man a liar.

At what point does someone point to kwaku in one of these debates on the ugly history of racism in the LDS

That byu professor asking about being together, it's not just a doctrinal thing, it's a way of leveraging relationships they have had success with, it's so hard not to be angry and resentful yet I'm a victim that will have a place and a family I don't understand or could imagine, if they don't repent (change of mind) their family's and appetites will be a form of agony I don't understand and don't want to imagine, they need the truth and need to at least have an informed choice in the matter.

Aaron, I thank God that He is using you to preach to the Mormon community. You and the MRM ministry have helped me to understand more about what Biblical Christianity is. Looking over the debate I thought it was funny that he would use Martin Luther as an example of what is wrong with Biblical Christianity and I like how you responded to his criticism. That being said I would wonder if Kwaku would denounce Brigham Young as a false prophet because of false teachings on blood atonement and blacks and the priesthood. They are clearly not taught in the Modern Mormon church. He cannot do that because everything he believes hinges on prophets and apostles. My faith is not in Martin Luther its in Jesus Christ.

When we say God is our literal Father, we are referring that He is the literal Father of our spirit.

Aaron, I don’t know if you’re a glutton for pain as I am and watched the Mormon conference, but Mr. Holland even doubled down on the “heaven will not be heaven without my family” rhetoric in his talk. I would love to get your thoughts on what he said.

Edit: warm regards from your family in Christ at Calvary City on a Hill in Provo!

Aaron please Matthew 6:14-15 Kwaku and debate him again

He showed up late, which means you need to give him more grace. Thanks.

It really all comes down to believe in the revelations in the D&C about marriage. And no 132 section does not say you have to be sealed to several women but it says to a woman to be exalted. It does talk about polygamy and that you have to obey if commanded by the Lord as does the book of Mormon.

1:13:02 "Traditional historic Mormonism" did NOT teach that God had sexual relations with Mary. "Hint Hint nudge nudge" does not support you, Aaron.
