@3:44 "There is Trinitarian language in the Book of Mormon, saying that Jesus IS the Father..." How many times is he going to keep making this mistake? Trinitarian language is specifically that Jesus is NOT the Father. The doctrine of the Trinity in 7 simple propositions is: 1) There is only one true God. 2) the Father is God. 3) the Son is God. 4) the Holy Spirit is God. 5) the Father is not the Son. 6) the Father is not the Holy Spirit. 7) the Son is not the Holy But plenty of people have already explained that to him (including James White), yet he insists on saying he understands the Trinity whilst continuing to make these blunders. May the Lord open his eyes to the Truth 🙏.

If I decided to be a Mormon and had to find a way to make it coherant, it would be hard to do, I hope this guy someday sees the distinction between being a seeker of true things vs defending his tribe, if it can't be scrutinized what's the value? I admire that he is willing to dialogue, I don't see many lds members willing to do this.

Kwaku is a dumpster fire in debates. Listening to him squirm and backpedal on the Apologia debate is ironic.
He is so limited in his grasp of biblical Christianity, and exegesis just isn't his thing.
When you are trying to impress insular high school and college Mormons, it isn't hard to do. Correlated LdS doctrine is so shallow that it doesn't take much to appear "deep".
Discussions like these with Christians who know the word, expose the Kwaku's easily.

In my opinion, this dialogue was definitely much better than the one between Dr. White and Kwaku, which was more or less a shouting match.

For me the work by heiser is real enlightening to mormonism, reading things smith said it seems obvious his theology is driven by the idea of the Divine council, his understanding of it and conclusions are where the problem comes in, he didn't see it within gods creation but predating it and didn't make the distinction of attributes between Yahweh and the bene elohim, he saw god as amoung peers, not as the one that creates and being himself uncreated, the mormon church would say we are all uncreated and eternal, not seeing the uniqueness of Yahweh.

Woah kwaku said he interpreted the Book of Mormon through the urman and thumam and basically says through seers stones as if the seers stones are those things, that’s nuts

Ezekiel 37: 15 - 20 stick of Judah and the stick of Joseph. Isaiah 29 :4 : 5 the book of Mormon was speak out of the ground. Angel Moroni appeared to Joseph Smith and told him about the book of Mormon where it barried. Bible was never speak out of the ground it was never barried on the ground. Isaiah 29 : 11-12 everytime I give a book of Mormon to someone to read they always say they can't read it. So what happen next ? Isaiah 29:13-15, Isaiah 29:18-19. The Bible is the word of God as far as it translate correctly also the Book of Mormon is another testement of Jesus Christ they work hand and hand to confound false doctrines.

After learning a lot more about scripture and connecting dots in the claims and theology, it was obvious listening to mormon leaders that they don't have a clue, the way they use scripture is incoherent, I wonder how kwaku deals with listening to his leaders and hearing them misinterpret even simple ideas.

Kwaku seems pretty in the know talking to a lot of foaks that dont know any near eastern scholarship and stick to denominational views, but getting into it he really has a surface view, he seems to see what he believes is helping his theology rather than understanding what is really being presented, the divine council view is actually the death of mormon theology, their views are dependant apon the divine entitys in the council having equal attributes and being ontologically the same, joseph smith didn't see a distinction between Yahweh and say marduk or Ramon, he just saw gods as plural.

When Kwaku says that the Book of Mormon is keystone to the LDS faith I think he's overstating it's role. The Book of Mormon is only a collection of stories supposedly demonstrating that some of the children of Israel were relocated to the American continent but contains very little information about the restoration of the church. All the updated doctrine for church restoration comes from Doctrine and Covenants and other LDS writings. It's also found in D&C that the "priesthood" is the key to godhood and not any individual or eternal god. I'm an ex-mormon who was saved when I was brought to faith in Jesus' work on the cross alone and not working in conjunction with some type of priesthood system like the Mormons teach. The rubber meets the road when we define the gospel as Paul defined it in 1 Corinthians 15:1-4, the LDS doctrine adds so much to this removing the cleansing power from it.

Mr Sentunel Apologetics, how are you doing brother?... I have a question for you Sir. I was very curious as to WHY were you rooting for Kwaku instead of James White and Jeff Durbin?... Being a Christian I would of thought you would be supporting fellow Brothers in the faith, doctrinal truth, and be oppose the LDS heretical position... I'm just curious Sir...Your statement caught me off guard and surprised me very much.

Mormonism is always backed into a place where attacking the bible is their only course out, it's based on a limited understanding of what's going on, it's incoherent. each mormon has to rationalize things based on their own opinion and sense of destiny, it's about their thinking and future, not gods revelation and decree.

I am a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter day Saints. Father in Heaven is our Father of our spirit, Father Adam is Father of our mortal body, and Jesus Christ is our Father when we have faith in Him, repent of our sins, and receive the Holy Ghost and take Jesus Christ name upon us.
