Keep in mind that in the December patch, bungie said they increased the damage resist from chains from 25% up to 40% against pve enemies only. So those pvp numbers might actually be low

Been running this build practically the whole expansion (once I stopped playing my Warlock at least) and can confirm it's amazing, even in high level content. It was putting in work during the contest mode raid. Let me clear out or lock down waves of enemies super efficiently while keeping me and people near me alive due to the damage resistance and freeze utility. Clearly lost sector/strike gameplay isn't super convincing for you guys but I promise you all it works well in high level content too, so if you haven't tried this build you really should give it a go.

I combine this with the Land Tank perk from the new seasonal weapons, as well as Psionic Forging II (which extends the length of the damage resistance). I use it on an auto-loading/Turnabout grenade launcher for breaking shields, similar to why you're using Dead Messenger, it just also has the Land Tank perk.

This works really well in and unstoppable/ Anti barrier scenario. i used unstoppable glaive and for anti barrier just keep tossing the duskfield on the champ and they freeze before they can put their regen barrier up. i used the new pulse with headstone. super fun build!

I wish you had gameplay in something other than the same 2 lost sectors and 2 strikes for every single build. Have some gameplay of a master lost sector or something.

Keep in mind the new stasis Hakke scout rifle can also roll with headstone if you need anti barrier

Actually used this build for vow day 1 but used both chain + rime + tracking shards. Rime is huge as it will heal you instead of giving os for any missing health. Meaning any area with heavy adds you can out heal

Hypothetical strength in a lost sector is not the same as practical strength. Trinity ghoul can solo lost sectors in 5-6 shots. In endgame the less hoops and the more safety the better.
