Items demonstrated/discussed in this video:

* Navigated to the incident form and displayed the OOB Assignment Group Field.
* Double-clicked on the Assignment Group field and selected Configure Dictionary.
* Displayed Assignment Group's current attributes tree_picker=true.
* Removed current attribute and displayed the difference on the Incident Form.
* Navigated back to the Dictionary entry and added the following attributes:

ref_auto_completer=AJAXReferenceChoice,max_ref_dropdown=500,is_searchable_choice=true

* Mentioned Third Republic is currently seeking ServiceNow Developers AND might have a ServiceNow meetup in London in November.
* Navigated back to the Incident form and showed how the CONTAINS search worked for the Choice Field vs. the Reference Field.

Make sure to check the Choice Field in the Choice List Specification Tab and make sure Dropdown with None is selected within the Dictionary Entry.

This is exactly what I was trying to do on INC for a field called Applications. I wanted to take list of apps in CI table - only issue is, can I then use that value to drive another choice list? Like category-subcat choices.

You could have touched little on dictionary override to add the attributes on child table just as an additional tip.
