These are the only mesh that uses multiple channels to get a strong signal everywhere. If you have lots of devices with a traditional mesh like google speed doesnt matter because the network can't handle that many connections. It's for people with smart homes with IOT and have lots of smart lights and smart switches and smart plugs all connecting 40 or 50 different devices to wifi. Pods arent pure speed for a few devices like a gamer, Netflix and laptop or 2..they are adaptive and in the next few years homes will start having way more devices connected

I've been thinking about getting these to get better service in my bedroom. But then I realized, no. I left crappy DSL and had service in my entire house, plus 400 ft diameter around my house. So why do I need to spend $$ to get a signal in my house, especially after installing my new and improved router just one month ago.

once i connect the pod, is it all on one network, or do i have to connect to a separate wifi network

Biggest piece of crap. Everytime i try to pair them it says it can’t and it Fucx up my wifi. Waste of money

I got them. Getting rid of them. They suck. Degrade speed from 360 mb/sec to 40mb/sec. wont connect to the 5gh signal and xfinity 2.4 ghz speed is only 40-60 mb/sec. called xfinity tech and they will not talk to me. Impossible to get a human in tech support. Total bullshit. I am getting rid of them. Getting orbi
