They should allow redstone dust to travel under upside down half slabs, there is plenty of room there. (Also small components such as repeaters and comparators.

If redstone dust mounted the solid sides of stairs even when changing from straight to corner, you could potentially use that to create logic gates by moving other stairs with pistons. "Try the all new Stairstone, the next best thing to leafstone".

I forget that the zombie horse is a thing. So weird that they never made it spawn. Same with the Illusioner I guess.

The observer pulsing when a note block's instrument changes isn't new. I've been using the feature since at least 1.14. It likely existed since observers were added. Not many people use the functionality though.

All I can think of with the reduced Data Values, is that 0.8 represents a 20% decrease in the Spawn Rates from a value of 1.0. You would have to test this with known Outputs of previous farm designs with identical Values to get the most accurate results though.

I like your suggestion about stairs but not so much about glass because stained glass is the only slab-like thing we can use in conjunction with wool/concrete/etc. to color-code our circuits. I don't want to go back to slabs.

Try to make piglin bastion generator so then you can have infinite netherite bro think about it.

:o you could make memory with that block changing below note block and it would be more than 1 bit per block. make a tape of blocks in the reader you push the block under the note block with a block already under it if a pulse comes from the note block that means the block has changed and then push it back into the tape this way each block can save 1 out of 12 different states
(tho reading is quite slow)

if you place down and 2 high block and at the same time press f (or the button you have set for puting items in your offhand), with another block in offhand, it will place the top part of the 2 high block and also, the block you had in the offhand, where the bottom part of the 2 high block should be. you can also place and update it afterwords adn it wont brake, but when you try to place a block on it it will be placed in the place, where the top parto of the 2 high block was. i dont think that it has any major value ( i experimented with it and you can do it with doors, grass and 2 high flowers. another interesting one is the chest: when you already have one and try to doing this glitch to make ith doblechest, but place an item in its place, the existing chest will have doblechest texture, but the part where it should conect will be transparent. similar thing happens to stairs, when you try to make them cornar stairs. I also tryed it with beds, although it doesn't work). exept that the remains of the blocks just floats in the air.
