Before I retired, I had been to several EV classes. We even got to disassemble TWO Prius EV battery's and removed the Inverters. Then we went over different ways and what to look for when Diagnosing them. When I had another Prius in our shop, it was going to the body shop for crash repairs, but they couldn't get it out of park. I emailed a woman named Caroline and she sent me the procedure to set the electronic Park to neutral and keep it there. We were able to move the vehicle around in neutral and just block the tires. I got the info from her through iATN. VERY HELPFUL! Never got to work on electric motor problems. When the vehicle is repaired, can you show us the damaged parts? YOUR AWESOME!!

Had the same fault on a couple of peugeot vans a couple of years ago belonging to a nearby company...Brand new vans, within weeks the range had gone down to i believe 40-60 miles on a full charge. These went back to the dealer. I dont know if they came back....

So what was the outcome? what repair were made to get the van working again?

Probably stator windings insulation. Ohming or megger will show it.
It's essential to have right type of oil in electric cars (corrosion and conductivity in oil )

Steve many thanks for this great video. My question is; Why the warning light came on after braking and not from the start of the drive. Also the comment from غ can be translated from Arabic; Really hard to work on such electrics.
