Looking at the battery pack (live data feed) in a 2018 Renault Kangoo ZE33 electric van

In this video I look at the battery pack data feed in a Renault Kangoo ZE 33kWh, using an Autel scanner and reading the live data from the BMS (battery management system). Nothing too technical. Its just to show you what the battery reports to aid any diagnostics.
If you wanted to get some stats from your own Renault Kangoo ZE or Zoe, then use the CanZe app on a mobile with a bluetooth OBD2 dongle.

Fascinating, it is amazing how many elements are monitored.

I checked my 2014 Kangoo ZE around the time I bought it Feb 2020 (19, 000 miles) and it was still showing 100% SOH !!

Hi, I was wondering if the same ECU's and BMS parameters are being used in the older kangoo's. I'm currently working on reverse-engineering the battery of a renault kangoo from 2013 and information is hard to come by so any information is much appreciated.

I always like your videos!!! They are very good... I am sorry to live in Portugal, otherwise I had already bought you a car or van. Could you share a link to that piece of bluetooth?

Is there any information on older vans? Same question as Kaj Zwinkels.. Only getting 30 to 40 miles out of a charge in the wintertime. 2012 model Can the battery be upgraded . I have seen an electric car upgraded with a battery in the car boot.

It would be nice to see a test on a 2017 Hyundai Ioniq 28kWh battery.

Hi. Could you do this trial on a Zoe ? And elaborate on the fluctuations of the SOH.
