I wanted to make this for a while an boy did it take a while to make. I almost gave up when my computer died and I lost the first twenty seconds of the video, but I'm so glad I went back redid everything. I really like this song and I wanted to make something for The Owl House since it's almost over.

That being said, I will be making another Owl House project in the future along with adding to my original story on Webtoon, details of which I will be posting on my Instagram.

This was realy good, i like that hunter's mindscape decays and the memories turn black as he dies but the memory of willow is the last standing memory untill flapjack saves him.

Those final moments are absolutely perfect. Hunter thought he was being comforted by memories of his first friend in his dying moments and is horrified to realize what Flapjack was about to sacrifice for him. Then the way Hunter embraces himself almost out of instinct, becoming a whole new person, is so powerful.

This is so good! I’m not sure if this was intentional, but I LOVE how the audio keeps saying “ captain “, because that’s what Hunter calls Willow sometimes. The art is so good, and you did an AWESOME job on this!

I love how the visuals line up with the song. Like when he starts to sink into the ground when the song says "I feel scared and I'm starting to sink."

Two things:

One, I am so happy that this popped up on my recommended page.

Two, the creativity in this animatic is INCREDIBLE. I absolutely love how smoothly and chronologically everything fell into place. Even the tiniest details, such as how certain characters are positioned and/or feeling in the moment further show how much effort and love you clearly poured into this project. That is admirable. Wow.

funny i always imagined this song in two parts:
First part ws wittbane brothers, where Caleb sun about Phillip's bottle (journal). But as Caleb slowly moves on to accept the realm, Philip becomes the only one who can help himself and becomes the captain of his life, killing his brother and being left alone to command his life.
Second part of the song is Hunter singing, being concerned about his uncle (spots under teh eyes part) and begging him to be sane (second chorus, cracks in the bottle being when Belos loses control). Final chorus, Bunter/Helos internal battle you get the point (:

I think it's sweet to see Hunter gain Darius and Gus for a surrogate father and brother. I think F.J could find ragged cloths for Hunter when he was in bitter tears. Not to mention I hope Luz can make Hunter more at ease if she lets him meets her mom.

Okay this was amazing! I love your use of expressions and movement. They really add to the feel. And that last scene in the mindscape hurt a lot.
