I use 450/400 speed mode with a certain skybox. That speed limit is seemingly good, I think.

I would like add my mods that I'm using in my server which I think they are essential or must-have mods.

1. Stone Duster (it helps you eliminate stones filling up in your cargos and drills while mining. )
2. Colorful Icons and also Color Hud.
3. Zer0's Tweaks - Vanilla Lights ( it helps to increase the range of spotlights. I think in vanilla, the range is ridicilously short. )
4. Lighting Profiles ( it allows you to create a profile of a light's panel information (color, offset, intensity etc...). So you can load into another light. Basically copy/paste. )
5. Autofill Bottles ( it helps you to refill your bottle while you charging your suit ( if everything sets correctly ) )

Thanks for the video btw. And sorry for my Japanese.
Cheers.

A mod I always use which only changes cosmetic things is the LCD Building Signs mod. It is a few years old but gives some great signs to place on LCDs around your ship or base so you can tell what a certain section or structure is for. It has signs for things like spaceport, medical, mess hall and lots of others and I love how they look on transparent LCDs. The sign can be placed next to a door for example labelling the room or structure and is transparent so it acts like a window at the same time.

Sneaky Sounds is my only must-have mod.

Just a caution in regards to the speed mod(s).

If you like your subgrids, I would keep your ships at lower speeds. Currently with all the phantom forces, this could lead to disaster for your designs, particularly in multiplayer servers where bad latency will literally separate your grids sometimes.

just started playing with a couple of friends and did some creative
I built a massive ship that was like half engine and half fuel, with the purpose of crashing into my friend's base at 1% of c, when I found out that the limit in vanilla is 100 m/s
I was pissed, thankfully there are mods tha fix that!

2:48 Should be in vanilla. It's been years and we're still pigeonholed by 2x1 being our steepest possible slope. At least 4x1 please.

BuildInfo is another one of those mods that should be run as a plugin so you just have it all the time.
I feel for console users and their inability to use plugins.

Could you please make a video on the best ai settings for warship and fighters? My ships keep chasing each other off into space and I don't know why.

Are you able to make a console variant?

I know some mods can be cross-plat, but weaponcore for example, and I think the text info one can't be console mods.

I think you may be a little confused about what 'vanilla' means. As soon as you add a block mod to the game it is no longer vanilla. A vanilla grid is one that is made from blocks that are in the default game. If you see a ship on the workshop that says it is vanilla, then you do not need to load any mods to build it. QOL (Quality of Life) mods on the other hand are the ones that should be included in this list.... Build Vision, Build Info, Recolorable Thrusters, HUD Compass etc. these just enhance the gameplay but not change your grids. The idea being that you can take your vanilla blueprints to any server and build them, whether they have mods loaded or not.

Build Vision, Welding and detaching, Clean LCD, NanoBot Build and Repair (Drill if I need to make a perfect hole for a base or hangar), Build Colors, Missile rebalance, Frame work mods - Text HUD API, Rich HUD API, Scope API, Binoculars, camera pan, Sneaky Sounds (Must HAVE!!!)

I never Play Vanilla. Vanilla Game play experience is essencial but Vanilla game play is retarted. You should experience Vanilla game play to appreciate the mods listed here.

There is just too many to list in my opinion also the mods you use changes depending on your scenario you play.
