Hello my beautiful fam!! Welcome to the heart of my home, my kitchen!!!!! 🎉🥺♥️🙏🏽 ❤️

It’s another beautiful day and today we are making the best tres leches cake from scratch, you wont believe how easy it is! Tres leches is made from a sponge like cake, believe me when i tell you when i first started making this cake, oh i struggled but through the process i found the way to make it perfect every time! For this recipe make sure you use self rising flour, but why? Because you won’t need to add more than 1/4 tsp of baking powder, too much of it will cause your cake to sink in☺️💕 I hope you enjoy it as much as we do and if you do please let me know in the comments and if you new here, welcome, become part of our family it is FREE, just hit that subscribe bottom ☺️ I promise you, you will not regret it ♥️ love you all thank you again got joining us today!

‼️‼️‼️For any other recipe just type in Cooking Con Claudia, followed by the recipe name you trying to find, if I already made it it should appear as the first videos ☺️ if not, request it in the comments 😘

PRO TIP!!!!
✅if you want to make it into just one single big layer, make sure your cake pan is bigger than the one i use in video if your cake mix is in too small of a cake pan IT WILL SINK this cake pan I use is 2 1/2 inch tall, it will be too much mixture and it will not cook properly, which makes the center sink, i dont want you to go through the struggles i went through when i first learned how to make this cake ☺️
✅have fun im not a baker but this cake is so fun to make enjoy the process and for best result, soak overnight!
✅DO NOT over mix the whole process of mixing should take no more than 16 minutes! if using hand mixer just take it slow and be patient

bake at 350f for 20-25 minutes( my cakes are done at 23 minutes) DO NOT check before, dont open the door more than once

to make the whipped topping I used 2 cups of COLD heavy cream, 1/4 cup powder sugar and 1 tbsp vanilla blend using my stand mixer I whipped for 6 minutes or until stiff

Ingredients:
6 whole eggs at room temperature
1 cup sifted sugar
1 tsp vanilla(im using mexican blend)
1 1/2 cup self rising all purpose flour
4 tsp cornstarch
1/4 tsp baking powder
tres leches mixture
1 cup heavy cream, or media crema
1 can condensed milk
1 con evaporated milk
1 tsp vanilla blend
your favorite fruit to garnish
1 serving of love 💕

I made this cake for my Daughter's Birthday it came out amazing made some tweeks to the recipe. Instead of the strawberries I made coconut custard and used coconut milk instead of evaporated milk and put coconut flakes all over the cake. Tasted amazing 😊

I LOVE Pastel de Tres Leches! It has to be my all-time favorite cake. I'm in Canada, and my specialty is a Maple Bacon Tres Leches with Brown Butter. So delicious, Claudia, yours looks fantastic! 😋🍰🥓🥛

Only attempted this kind of cake twice and both times it was not good at all, very wet but tasted too "egg-y" 😢 I've never watched the recipe and method in video format though, only from reading in a magazine or recipe book so it was very confusing. Since i have learned so much about cooking techniques, baking, etc with YouTube, Pinterest etc....I have come so far and this video looks much easier than reading through the recipe in a book lol 😊 Also have only seen it made in sheet cake or single layer form so this was very surprising and I'm very impressed. Fingers crossed on my next attempt in the future ❤

Frosting the cake with stabilized whipped cream is a game changer.
Use INSTANT CLEAR GEL powder. Youtuber Amycakesbakes had a short video on how to make it.
Tastes delicious and lasts for days. You can freeze it, too.
