Honestly I know see that one of my biggest pet peeves in fantasy novels is when the author just shows and doesn’t tell, especially with their characters, introspection, and emotions. I always write my fight scenes with so much detail. Every swing of a sword or each punch should be understood clearly and the same way from every reader. So it is like reading a turn-based combat game. Is it wrong to do that? Or is that any good, proper ways to do that?
