Bless you ! I always wondered how show don't tell works on page. It always seemed more practical on screen (movies - series) But now it's clear.

This video is absolutely showing instead of telling. I learned so much in this one.

I think it's kind of amazing that you're one of only about three YouTubers that I have found who even has a basic understanding of what this phrase means. Like it's truly mind-blowing, the number of people - writers even who just... don't get it... at all.

Phenomenal video. This is one thing that I’ve always thought writer explain very well and know that I’ve heard your explanation I can see how useful and important this is. Honestly I know see that one of my biggest pet peeves in fantasy novels is when the author just shows and doesn’t tell, especially with their characters, introspection, and emotions. Thanks for another great video. You’ve quickly become my new favorite writing channel.

I always write my fight scenes with so much detail. Every swing of a sword or each punch should be understood clearly and the same way from every reader. So it is like reading a turn-based combat game. Is it wrong to do that? Or is that any good, proper ways to do that?
