Why Are Marvel Posters Bad?

The best Marvel poster in my honest opinion is the Civil War poster, the "united we stand, divided we fall" is perfect, and it showcases the two sides of the conflict

I think some Marvel posters are good but the majority of them are bad. Especially the No way home Posters which I think are the worst ones. The Alternative posters they have (that are not a clusterfuck of actors) are the best ones they got. When you got time take a look at the Snowy NYC Offical Marvel No Way Home Poster. Fucking amazing

Fun fact there was posters that were animated to show the movie but they scarp them due that part of audience wouldn't know what the movie or characters were so they just use the actors as movie posters (or Atleest that what I remember, when I read about it the posters were so cool whit 2d style and they look so full of life

Believe it or not there is a science behind posters. Which is to draw ones eye to the big selling factor of the film using elements in the poster or the lack there of (jurassic park). Some Good examples are any of the heisei, and millennium godzilla films.

wakanda forever has one of the best posters cuz it showcases both sides and that no one is really the villain here and they just want to protect their nation

The most annoying part is so many of the teaser posters are so good but the majority of the final posters just suck...

Half the time those posters are studio mandates. When it comes to movie posters most directors dont get to decide on the poster which is why Indie Films have better Posters.
