Dresden's touristic center is compact and can be seen in a day. However, like that you are missing out on two of the city's greatest sights: Dresden Palace and its museums, including the world's most magnificent treasure collection, and The Gallery of Old Masters in Zwinger Palace, one of the world's best painting collections. Visiting those two adds at least another day. And even then you didn't visit any of the royal palaces and gardens surrounding Dresden, which would add another day. And then there is the beautiful medieval town of Meißen, birthplace of European porcelain, nearby the city, which would add another day. And then there is Saxonian Switzerland and Konigstein Fortress, a beautiful mountain range and a medieval fortress, which would add another day. You can at least spend 5 days in Dresden and see fantastic sights every day.

Please be back another day maybe in spring and best on a weekday. Dresden is much less crowded then and much more enjoyable.

Very interesting video! Your drone footage was beautiful!!
We are currently on a train from Prague to Dresden, and YouTube recommended this video to me 😉. Cheers! Dara

Thing is... the "historic part" of Dresden is really confined in one location. For example, if you are in Vienna, you have similar architecture at a way bigger scale, but you cannot see all of it in one go. That is a good thing... and maybe a bad thing. Sad is, that the fill in the gaps with modern architecture, which looks displaced.
So, if you decide to come back, check out the stuff at our perimeter: Moritzburg, Pillnitz, Großsedlitz, Meissen and Königstein with the Sächsische Schweiz. More historic stuff, but.... not as equally overrun in the summer. I also would suggest visiting here in October, when the leaves get yellow-red; everything upstream of the Elbe then looks fabulous.

Did you made the drone filming by yourself?

And although I do like your content, especially about Prague, but I always have a hard time to understand the comments because of Nash's heavy accent. Maybe it makes more sense to let Tereza do the comments.

Hate to be that guy but I was wondering if you got any hassle due to being a black family. Dresden doesn't exactly have the best reputation in this regard.
