G'day everybody! In this video we will see if and how the Indoraptor would survive throughout the Mesozoic. Could this upgrade from the Indominus rex have a better chance at surviving the Triassic, Jurassic, and Cretaceous periods? We’ll explore its adaptability, how it would deal with competition and how it would hunt.

Unlike other creatures from the series, yeah Indoraptor doesn't have many higher feats to speak of. He would be very dangerous if not nerfed by being in a cage all the time, he's very smart, fast and powerful and has a very powerful set of tools. His bite's probably even higher, as the raptors themselves have an 8, 000 newton bite compared directly to an alligator and Indoraptor is certainly above any of them.

Including JWE2 footage is a great idea. That worked really well!

Could the Rancor from Star Wars survive in the Cretaceous period?

19:10 Indoraptor mocking Tarbosaurus for its tiny arms is diabolical, i think that’s enough to take down the tarbosaurus, emotional damage

I was excited to see this
I recall commenting about the Indoraptor back when you did Indominus and this feels exactly like what I pictured
The Indoraptor may not have the size but that's fine. In nature its not always the biggest that thrive. Its the one that can adapt. With its higher brains and ability to hunt at night the Indoraptor would likely instill fear in a lot of prey animals.
After all the night is generally safe for most creatures
So the idea it isn't would be horrifying
Also the idea the Indoraptor simply spooks Tarchia for its own amusement is kinda funny. Honestly makes me think if the Indoraptor was smart enough it could use the spooked ankylos to its advantage. Maybe if it gets into a scrap with a larger predator it could lure it to one of the little armored beasts and have it either drive the predator off or fatally injure it giving the Indoraptor a perfect target.
I think another interesting scenario could be "Could the Carnotaurus from Disney's Dinosaur survive Prehistoric South America?"

One thing that makes the Indorapror even more intimidating is that it was effectively suffering from malnutrition from being in that cage its whole life

I wonder what kind of unusual hunting strategies its intelligence would allow it to come up with, I could certainly imagine it pouncing on Herbivores from above by climbing a tree like modern day leopards do, or deliberately aiming for arteries in order to let its prey bleed out without needing put put in any more effort

Indoraptor is my favorite.
Thank you for putting in all of this effort, I feel like I learned a lot.

I don't think anyone in the PS world will complain about this.

The Indoraptor doesn't have much to highlight physically beyond the physical aspects related to its mass.

Fun video! TBH I kinda thought the thing might fail in the cretaceous, but it makes sense that it doesn't! Here's an idea: Could the Kulu-Ya-Ku survive the Cretaceous Period?

Honestly love these videos since they’re very informative and highly unbiased like most I’ve seen, and as a big fan of Indoraptor, I do agree with the overall analysis though I do believe the bite force of it could potentially be stronger but 8, 000 PSI is a safe bet.

Im sure you’re getting a lot of these requests but how about Scorpius Rex? I think that would be interesting to see in these types of videos considering how chaotic they were.

Also I have another potential suggestion

How about Tzitzi-Ya-Ku or Great Izuchi from Monster Hunter? I think they would make some fun videos, could just be a singular period like the Jurassic etc.

The overseer you actually saw my comment thanks for making the vid and it’s a awesome vid keep it up

I think you should expand the idea to include periods before the Mesozoic (i.e. the Carboniferous, Permian, etc.) and after the Mesozoic (i.e. the Eocene, the Ice Age, etc.)

Regarding the scenario I feel like it was interesting to watch as I enjoy your videos I cant help but feel like the Indoraptor and hybrids/monsters or fantasy creatures always have an inherent advantage over real animals due to some sort of thing like the Indoraptor is basically good at everything minus potentially not being huge although it's arguably a strength in this situation.

I expected the Triassic would be the easiest for it as you said it being larger than most of the animals there, overall I think personally whilst it's a fun idea to talk about the advantages the fictional creatures have is unfair to real prehistoric animals the higher intelligence than everything else almost himan level all of it.

Still at least Tarbosaurus was there to put it in it's place lol, I look forward to your next video! Fingers crossed my suggestion can be considered 🤞🦕

Congratulations Overseer!!! That was a really cool video, I liked how you hypothesized how the indoraptor would fare in these three unique and also extreme periods!!! I can't wait to see what your next idea will be😁

I'm guessing you didn't put the indoraptor in the Hell Creek formation in the late cretaceous because it wouldn't stand a chance. With a good enough ambush and hit-and-run tactics, it might be able to kill triceratops or edmontosaurus, but ankylosaurus is probably too armored and it wouldn't stand a chance against alamosaurus. It would also be too risky to hunt there when T.Rex was around and perhaps packs of dakotaraptor

Suggestion: Speculative Ecology and Speciation of Natural hybrids of animals from the fossil record.

For example:
- Allosaurus fragilis x anax
- T Rex x Nano tyrannus
- Brachiosaurus x Diplodocus
- Stegosaurus x Kentrosaurus
