I personally like this theory that since the indominus was so intelligent the fact that she was experimented on from the moment she was born drove her to a breaking point where she killed her sibling, because if you all remember when she first saw the raptors she was communicating with them, and if you think about it she most definitely could comprehend that they might use her siblings corpse for experiments too, so she ate it. I personally see the indominus as a highly intelligent creature that’s treatment of it caused it to be vengeful

Indominus was not treated well at all her entire life, that’s probably why she kills everything she sees for fun (and because she hasn’t seen any of the other things ever) I’m convinced that Indominus would be has aggressive as Rexy if she was treated well (still really aggressive but a lot less)

Her killing her own sibling most likely explains how well she comprehended the concept of betrayal and family as an adult. Once Blue turned against her, Indominus knocked her away. You can even tell from her body language that she commanded the raptors to kill Owen and the others before so.
