With being bigger and with how big the Indominus Rex stride is when it runs, wouldn't that make it faster.

Also, according to the Jurassic World ride at Universal Hollywood Dr. Wu says that the Indominus can actually grow to 55 feet, which is also why Claire says to Owen in the movie that the indominus was bigger than expected.
