Our mission is to encourage, empower, and inspire people to live a life that Blesses God, in accordance with His word. As the Psalmist proclaims, "Bless God in the great congregation, the Lord, O you who are of Israel's fountain" (Psalm 68:26 ESV), and "Every day will I bless Thee; and I will praise Thy name forever and ever" (Psalm 145:2 KJV). Just as Simeon, after encountering Jesus, "took him up in his arms and blessed God" (Luke 2:28 ESV), we seek to lead others in a life of stewardship, relevant engagement, and practical living that honors and blesses the Lord.

If you care about your church. Give. It really is that simple. Greed makes it seem complicated. It doesnt have to be 10 percent, but it should be done faithfully and selflessly.

When churches close abruptly then people ask why? Just like a household needs money, so does the church.

Bedside baptist is crazy 😂

Just to add a small tithing testimony, I lost my job 4 months ago and never stopped tithing the entire time + continuing to serve in whatever capacity almost every week. Let me tell you something… even though I thought it was hard God took care of me as well as my family. We never missed a beat and still were able to praise Him through it all. Not only that, I’ve been given an opportunity to almost TRIPLE my income. I did the math, and every single penny I “missed” in the past 4 months I’ll make right back in no time. If you aren’t giving regularly, def consider it and test God in this area as He says in Malachi.

“Now I say this: the one who sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and the one who sows generously will also reap generously. Each one must do just as he has decided in his heart, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver. And God is able to make all grace overflow to you, so that, always having all sufficiency in everything, you may have an abundance for every good deed;”
‭‭2 Corinthians‬ ‭9‬:‭6‬-‭8‬ ‭NASB2020‬‬

I try to tithe as much as I can, currently I and my wife are full time students and have struggled finding a job. We try to still tithe nonetheless. But it’s scary trusting God when there is nothing coming in at all for weeks

Give because you want to and not because you are commanded to. Giving your life to Jesus Christ voluntarily and allow Him to lead you in how much to give, who to give to, when to give and what to give.
The principle of giving as shown by God in His giving is motivated by love and is never forced.
No such thing as principle of tithing. Its always been the principle of giving that exist even from the beginning.
Give as God gives.
He blesses us first so we can bless.
He loves us first so we can love.
He fogives us first so we can forgive.
We are blessed not because of our right doing but because of what Jesus Christ did.
His life lived, life given and life resurrected is the reason we are blessed.
To Him alone be the glory.

When I first began attending organized churches I felt unsure about tithing, but once I started embedding myself as a volunteer and close member of our church the question of whether to tithe and how much became clear as day.
More Christians must confront their own covetousness with money, and they must dig into a community of believers.

My husband and I started tithing after we heard Dave Ramsey talk about it. The way he used the analogy of a closed fist and an open fist really helped.

There’s also a realization that even if you go back to the old testament, and look at all the examples of tithing, it’s not that they were just tithing money, but they were also tithing property.
So I guess if you wanted to apply it as a New Testament believer you also have the ability to give clothes, things, appliances, that you would like to dedicate to the Lord to be used for purposes of the Lord.
As well as giving to others, who are in need, maybe not financially, but definitely materially. Apart from the spiritual aspects of giving as well.

I think a major issue is that this tithing principle is always taught from a self serving angle. Give to the Church and see how God blesses YOU. We never talk about how it blesses our community. Why do we need to see direct benefits in our lives for us to care? God is generous with you in all ways so you can give generously with no expectations of reciprocity.

People think tithing is tough when you're poor? If we're not faithful when things are scarce, we definitely won't be faithful when things are plentiful. I'm convinced there are Christians who would convince the widow, the one whose faith Jesus praised in Mark 12, to not give her last two coins...

Me and my wife honor God with our tithe and the fruit we have isn’t a coincidence. Income property and a home we live in with one income is supernatural math and we can trace that back to tithing as well as our diligence in sowing seed.

The fact is the WE ARE the Church - we need to get the idea out of our heads that "Church" is a place that we meet. The reason we need to give is to support and be part of the ministry.

Maintaining the building and making sure that the full time minister(s) have enough to live at a decent level means that everyone needs to give, and if we're giving as unto the Lord, then He blesses us and the gift. I'm not into prosperity teaching, but the times in my life that I have been most financially secure have been when I have been consistently giving.

Glad to get back to more videos like this. More word talk to help in the faith less hot topic takes. Fan of the channel 🙏🏾

I wasn't great about the amount of giving but my husband is very generous. I finally had a spark and understood that if I wasn't willing to give it would fall onto everyone else at church. I knew after that everyone giving raises all of us up and doesn't make some over burdened. If you love your church you should want to take care of it. They are your family too.

Been tithing since 2011. I have studied it out more and came to the conclusion that I tithe by faith according to the law of faith.

Love this video. I keep seeing stuff about tithing. I am struggling to support my family and just scraping by but I still want to tithe. Your comment about "not giving to get" has resonated with me. I feel that I don't have my heart in it to trust the Lord with this when we are struggling and I feel that part of me thinks about tithing but only to get from God a blessing. Thank you for opening up this new idea for something I need to pray about. God bless

When I joined the LDS church, tithing + offerings was one of the easiest things to get on board with. In my congregation I met several poor families, including victims of human trafficking and people with special needs, who were being supported by the churches funds. In some cases all of their expenses were paid by the church untill thier situations stableized. A few years after I joined I fell on hard times. I paid a tithe on the little money I was able to make, and the church bought my groceries and made up the difference in my rent until I could get on my feet. Even in the worst times, with the support of my congregation I can not say that I ever felt like I was in poverty. We just had everything in common, and those who needed help got it, those who didn't need it gave it.
I was a practitioner of wicca before I was called to know Jesus, so I'm not sure how other churches run their welfare programs. However, the only reasons I can think of that would limit how much good a church could do is the generosity of its members, or the greed of its clergy. As members of a congregation we only have control over one of those factors.
