Thank you for making this video! I followed your instructions step by step and was able to replace my sensor in less than 2 hours and now have an accurate oil pressure reading. You saved me hundreds of dollars doing myself and several hours compared to removing the entire intake plenum. It wasn't easy because there is so little room to work back there but with perseverance, I got it done. Thanks again!

I have a 2012 Colorado 5.3L V8 (bit of a unicorn) & searched high & low just to find out the location of my Oil Pressure Switch. Even Storer & Haynes was of no help. Thank you so much! I was on the brink of giving up & taking it to a shop. From now on I'll remember that 5.3L Tahoes have a lot in common with mine.

Thank you for video. My husband was attempting to change his sensor and after hearing him getting frustrated with it I decided to look up a video and I was able to get the clip off the sensor for him thanks to this video ❤❤

This is one of the better car repair videos I have seen. Including all the little details that would confound the first timer, like how those plugs work. Keep up the good work.

Hey, I am another satisfied customer in your debt. It was a bitch, but it would’ve been a nightmare without this video. Took me about 90 minutes only because the deep socket I used to take the sensor out worked fine but not to snug in the new one, I needed a six sided deep socket which I didn’t have. I think this was mentioned in the video. We improvised and I got it in and it all worked. Once again, your video is awesome. Thank you for the time you took and creating it and all the people that you’ve helped.

Nicely done! Clear instructions, and great camera work. Far enough away for the overview, but close enough for detail. Highly underrated quality for instructional videos.

So in my effort to find someone to repair this thing i was quoted at over 550. This repair litterally takes 5 minutes to do. Thanks Eric, very based and informative.

Thank you. I watched another video and they removed the intake manifold and I was so relieved to see how you did it. It only took me 30 minutes and it went EXACTLY as you showed. The only glitch was when I started the truck, the oil pressure still read zero, but 15 seconds later it read correctly. Great job, saved me hundreds $$$.

Getting the plug off sensor at the beginning was the toughest part. Thanks for the good video and showing the mass air flow sensor connection so I knew what I had to blindly unlatch. Pushing in the tab to release it was key.

YOU DID EXCELLENT SHOWING HOW TO UNLOCK AND REMOVE CONNECTION BY USING THE SWITCH WE COULD ACTUALLY SEE WELL. 😊

Thanks so much Eric, was able to complete this job in about 2 hours. I have almost no engine repair experience but your video was invaluable. I struggled with the sensor wiring harness removal but after that smooth sailing.
Thanks again!!

Definitely could not have done this without your video. Thank you. I went one step further and bought a little WiFi camera to watch what I was doing back there on an iPad. Thanks again.

A great video! First, you're one of the very few who actually describe and explain how to remove the plug from the sensor. I was lucky enough to not have to remove any vacuum lines. At the location of the short extension and after the swivel, I used a 3/8 to 1/2 adapter and loosened the sensor initially with my breaker bar. Once loosened, I used a regular ratchet to complete removal. To remove the filter, I found a long (3") lug screw the diameter of the filter and gently screwed it in 1/4 turn to bite into and then remove the filter. 90 minutes total, maybe less than 45 if had to do again.

Really appreciate this video. Really struggled until your tip about the vacuum lines. After that, getting the right combination of wobble sockets and extensions was the tough part for me.

Thanks for this video. I’m 1000 miles from home and my sensor has gone bad. Not looking forward to this sensor replacement, but at least I know what I am going to do to replace it. The description of the connector removal is great help.

Thanks for making this video. It was clear and concise. Showing how to remove the clips was a huge help, especially since it was very hard to see some of them. I followed the video to a tee and finished in about an hour and a half with no real issues except I lost the white clip off the electrical connector. It flew off while I was trying to pull it up. I stole the one from the mass airflow sensor (thanks for showing that they are the same) so I could put everything back together. Just need to get a replacement clip for the mass airflow sensor now and I'll be done. Thanks again.

Hey thanks for the video, followed your steps on what to use and need. It was hard not going to lie, started raining and slowed up my progress. Got it done and hope I never have to do that again.
