I don't think the wild fowl trapped is a real one. According to my experience, wild fowls are highly clever to get trapped into these snares easily. It takes days together after laying snares for the wild fowls to be trapped. The wild fowls are so clever that they don't go close to any new or uncommon layout. Once, the leaves or branches close to the snares or the snares are old and looks common, then only they do approach or cross a path of a snare/trap.
