Worship In Ear Mix ft. Jake Gosselin from Churchfront - Keys Cam

A few months back we had the chance to head out to Colorado and hang out with our friends @Churchfront!

Jake Gosselin and David Pfaltzgraff have done a few videos together now, but this was David's first time to join Jake's team on stage for a worship set.

Today we're releasing a new keys cam video and you'll get to listen and watch up close as David plays keys!

Look over his shoulder in real time and see how he transitions between songs, handles quiet moments, and builds his sounds during the set!

It was a great worship set and in this video you'll get to see what went into it.

Would love it if you made a bunch more of these videos. Maybe make a playlist of videos like this one. I know it would be a huge blessing for me.

Id like to listen more of how you did the underscoring and the exhortation as well. I may learn a lot from it on how to underscore with emotions not just of the sake of playing in the background. :)

Dude we basically look the same, but I'm hairy! I'm also a tech savvy keyboards player in a band, although my domain is Logic Pro X as our music is tied to playbacks and is much stricter. Keep up the good work tho!

Thanks! Nice work! Some new ideas for me. The in-ear mix was relaxed and clean and minimal. (Can't tell how much bass, drums, e gtr, etc. leaked in, though.) No music stand :)
How do you change patches (foot pedal?)? Do you find yourself glancing at the Mac (or could it be located out of your sight line)? Some serious prep work happened. And, finally, I"m impressed that you can block out the click when you need to play slowly. :)

Hi! Quick question. I am also using a Yamaha MX49 as a midi controller. When I assign The MX49 as an external instrument I still have an audio echo coming from the MX. It's mixed with the mainstage sundaykeys patch. My set up is via USB connection.

Hey I have another question… would u recommend the m audio keys station 61 or the arturia 61 essential for church? And if I were to get the arturia 61 since it has knobs and faders do I still need a midi controller such as u recommended the nanokntrl2? Thanks a lot! Good bless

What's the house board that you are playing?

Late to the party, but - how much are you actually using the NanoKontrol apart from for patch changes?
