I love how at no point in time does "Kurt, please stop destroying my drums" even cross Dave's mind. haha.

I love that Dave is a great storyteller, but I also love that Krist is absolutely not a "made-for-TV" kind of guy. He just says what he remembers whether it's entertaining or not and there's an honesty to that that I appreciate.

I find it impossible to not like Dave Grohl. While I can’t put my finger on what it is he does or says to make it so, every snippet I watch with him in it leaves me happier.

I'm glad to finally hear stories like this from Nirvana!😂

Dave is such nice guy, and was a great friend to Kurt. This one proves it.

If I was to believe that any rock musician asked for new equipment with "can I please have" it would be Dave. Such a nice chap.

A radio voice, from back in the day. .. When asked, what was the best show he'd ever been to.. Without hesitation, he replied, "Nirvana, at the metro"

The grin on Dave’s face while plotting to destroy a drum set is everything 😎👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼

There are a ton of great Nirvana stories, second favorite being Krist constantly looking for left handed guitars, and this one being my absolute favorite, how punk bands with label money act is so funny to me.

Dave Grhol seems to be an original and nice person. Down to earth, humble. Nothing to hide or pretend to be. On the other hand, the interviewer seems to be fake and forcing a moment, all the time pretending to be a nice and cool person. Now I can imagine how his co workers could stand his diva attitude.

I spent my late teens and early 20’s at Smart Bar and The Metro. Got to meet The Cure and Billy Corgan from SP there in 2004. This is a small BAD ASS venue in Chicago with an amazing old stage. It still floors me some of the bands I got to see performing there before they moved on to huge venues. I was hoping to see Nirvana at lollapalooza in 1994 but Kurt died before that summer. Pretty rad lineup but not the same as I’d hoped for

Jimmy can make any great story feel undervalued and dismissed
