I personally think that Jeremiah Green is a super underrated drummer. He may not have had super complex beats, but he had tons of variation. Also, Hamar Akim for Contact. Not sure how technically complex it is but the drums on it go hard af.

Greatest drummer of all time: Travis Barker. Great knowledge of drum styles and musics, technically amazing watching him play, and everything he plays not only fits the song but takes it to another level.

That's the drum fill from Gap Band's "Burn Rubber", Dave even admitted he "stole" it outright. Definitely a great musicain, but go listen to Piert, Bonham, Fishman, Copeland, Hart, Kreitzman, Vinnie Paul.... The list is endless, before you get to Grohl.
