Last of the Mohicans is my favorite movie. Being native American myself. I NEVER see a film about natives had a great cast, music, complex characters, great setting, big budget war scene, and compelling story. Done on a grand scale.

The Gael was later adapted for the 1992 film The last of the Mohicans.

Ally, this is one of my all-time favourite songs from a movie. That it was bagpipes that carried the melody was unusual, but it was the most appropriate instrument to evoke the emotions in the movie. I’m an American with Hungarian parents and I’ve played several instruments as a youth that I no longer do: piano, saxophone, clarinet, and drums. I wish to take up guitar next. It is gratifying to see that all kinds of instruments are being taken up people, especially young, beautiful girls/women. I’m a fan.
