Great movie and a truly great score. Sadly this film would probably be attacked today because of Daniel Day Lewis's role. But this was, and always will be one of my all-time favorite action/period films and to Hell with folks having an issue with it. And it's also what made me want to travel up and down the Appalachians when I was younger. I was about 12 or 13 at the time, and it was right after my Mom died... And I actually did travel from Maine on down into the Smokies. So I covered a lot of it with both my Father and eventually my wife and my daughter. So it definitely brings up some nostalgic and even some tragic memories. But none the less, it's still a film that I love.
