In this video I go over the proof for the inverse trigonometry identity which is listed below in the many ways of writing inverse trigonometry:
inverse sec(x) = inverse cos(1/x)
arcsec(x) = arccos(1/x)
asec(x) = acos(1/x)
sec^(-1)(x) = cos^(-1)(1/x)
