Chris is not remorseful, he is only embarrassed that he got caught. He feels no shame.

Chris does not have or feel emotions that's the way his brain is. He had to Google what is love or something like that. He can only understand if he is judged on something. He still can't understand why people think he is a monster. I don't think the author should have told him to say he's sorry, that's manipulation of the truth. He is not sorry he killed them .IMO.

I think if he was capable of being sorry, he wouldn't have been capable of doing what he did in the first place. Those two things don't go together.

That's what's disturbed me all along; his lack of remorse, and refusal to express any regret in ending Shanann's life. He talks about being a servant of God, yet Jesus said "Blessed are those who MOURN, for THEY shall be comforted." Jesus meant "mourn over SIN." Where's his sorrow for what he DID??? Psalm 51says that it's "A broken and contrite heart, O God, you will not despise."

When a person says they are sorry, they are either saying, I did not intend to hurt you, or at least they are saying, I realize I hurt you and I don't want you to hurt. The absence of an apology seems to indicate a desire to inflict pain, or just a plain lack of feeling altogether.

Why read the book when we’ve already seen the “movie” (videos) from start to finish. We know what happened, and just in case we missed something, he’s told us what happened. Who cares what he feels or thinks; he brutally annihilated the angels who trusted, and expected him to protect them. Rest easy dear Shanann, and your precious babies. And condolences to the dear grandparents, and families. Their lives are forever changed because of this monster.

She says she told Chris that he's never truly said he was sorry and thinks the public will think badly of him, then... publishes every single exchange detailing his most heinous and cruel thoughts and actions.
I keep getting the feeling that this woman has designs on Chris Watts. Not sure why but I don't think she's legit.
