Since, there is one number that is prime and even "2".
a+b =99
a=2 ; b=97
a-b=?
a-b=97-2
95 is the answer .

Explanation:since sum of roots is odd, one root will be 2 and it is also prime.
So 2+alpha equals 99
Therefore, alpha equals 97
And alpha minus beta equals 97-2=95
