The cardboard wheel one works really well. I suggest you draw arrows in the direction you want to move the string though. It just makes it easier to start up again.

I am 45 and I still remember us making these in high school and college. I think my friends and I use to pin the bracelet to our jeans and finish them by the end of the day and hand them out. These are great! Making the thicker ones are fun too🤗✌️
