For those confused without words, here is the pattern:
-3rd string from left = do 1 forward backward knot
-1st string from left = do 2 forward knots
-1st string from right = do 2 backward knots
-3rd string from right = do 1 backward forward knot
-1st string from left = do 2 forward knots
-1st string from right = 2 backward knots
-repeat from beginning to desired length

So I’m trying to learn how to read these patterns, and I’ve noticed you don’t go left to right on each line. Is there a method to the way that you do it instead of just reading the graph left to right?
