A particular types of gypsum called Selenite, should be on this list. I don’t wana ruin the surprise for you, so just look up Mexico’s giant crystal cave and be astonished.

Lapis was prefered to azurite for pigment. Easier to grind into a fine powder. Da vinci used it foe indigo and various shades of blue.
