2025 BMW M5 Touring: TOO HEAVY to be GREAT.

When it comes to performance, weight subtracts from the excitement because it makes a potentially good handling car weighty and ponderous; regardless of how quick it is in a straight line. I love lightweight cars with a manual transmission. they handle better, drive better even if they are slower. its about balance.

Bmw had to do an hybrid otherwise there wouldn’t have been an v8 and that the smaller not so sporty cars get an m batch doesn’t really matter, also audi and mercedes are doing the same. The new M5 is just a little ugly from the front and could be maybe a little faster otherwise great car.

Too heavy? wtf. Is it a track car? This is just getting ridiculous. The car is a luxury cruiser/tourer. It’s meant to be heavy and it compensates that with the amount of horses to propel it forward.
