Welcome to part six of my History Bounding Look Book as I plan to revamp my historical wardrobe. I’m going to show you how I create an Edwardian Bolero Jacket to wear with a skirt and blouse as the perfect outfit for travelling on a heritage steam railway, which you will see in the big reveal at the end of the video.

I hope it will inspire you whether you sew your own clothes, are looking for pointers on how to create and style a modern historybounding wardrobe or are potential customers of Blue Lady Couture.
You’ll probably hear me mention things like the ‘Beatrix’ or the ‘Sylvia’ or the ‘Mary’. These are the names of different styles available in my Etsy store. I will cover these in a bit more detail as I proceed through the series, but you can visit my shop link here:

You can follow me on FB and Instagram for more photos!

I also have a Ko-Fi account if you would like to support my channel and my work without purchasing an item.
I also have a Redbubble store where you can buy Blue Lady Couture branded stationery and gifts some of which feature in this video.

Reveal footage filmed at The Great Central Railway. Find out more about them here:

Don't cross your legs at the knee, dear. A lady crosses her ankles.

What? Wait... was that my grandmother? She's found a way to come back!

The suit is lovely, and you sew beautifully. Congrats!

Fun to see your process. What a lovely railway 🛤 ride. Now I am jealous you have such a great setting and journey. :-)

Another lovely result; you look like you could have been with Hercule Poirot on *the Orient Express!*

Of course, it's the Edwardian mood you've enhanced in me, as I spent some of the day sewing lace on my own Edwardian skirt! Mine will be more difficult to travel in however, as it's a hobble skirt which will firmly enforce the *ladylike step of 14 inches or less!*

I am fairly new to your channel. Thank you for providing such instructional videos with, as in this case, a gentle atmosphere. Out of curiosity, where was the train station. Looks like a museum or preservation society.

I love the fabric you used. Is it a site just from your area and can it be accessed from the US? Thanks in advance 😊

Dammit you're making me want to watch Anne of Green Gables again. I've already watched it multiple times this year
