Fantastic in every way. We have a 20 year old one that still works well, has water, ice and crushed ice dispenser but has nothing to do with this modern, energy saving, AI powered one. Great to see this in a refrigerator 😊

I really like the idea of not having to connect to plumbing to use the water/ice dispenser. The water in my city is extremely hard, so it takes a toll on appliances (even using a water softener). The Samsung setup would allow me to use filtered water in the reservoir, eliminating most of the hard minerals.

If I tturn the refrigirator into a Fridge max (so freezer and fridge both in fridge modus), can I then also use the ice cubes or does it only work when the freezer is in freezer modus?

We bought a Samsung fridge a few years back. The ice machine was so bad they replaced the whole unit with the one that has a tablet like smart display inside. Still horrible ice maker, nothing but issues, leaks, at free it wasn’t worth it. I will never buy another Samsung appliance.
