How to farm 'unlimited' lives in Super Mario World (40+ 1ups a minute)

There are many ways to get easy 'unlimited' lives in Super Mario World - but the fastest and easiest is in Vanilla Secret 2, getting you over 40 lives per minute.

Play the level to the halfway checkpoint, then continue onward until you reach the pit full of Spinys. Hit the second rotating block from the left for a silver P-Switch. Grab it and head back to before the halfway marker, then a little further still until you are in-between the two purple pipes.

Now use the P-Switch. It'll turn any enemies into silver coins. Collect the coins nearby, then run back through the level. There is a long chain of transformed enemies here, earning you a string of 3up bonuses for each collected.

You can easily repeat this by pressing Start then Select to exit the level. Re-enter and you'll start back at the halfway checkpoint, allowing you to do it all again in less than a minute.

so many live tricks! In forest of illusion 1, get invincbility and beat the enemies! Then die and do it again, rinse and repeat!
