I really like the way you show the stick controls. That's very helpful for those of us that are new to the field.

The most under rated eflite planes ever.. both the umx and 600mm version

Really want a 1.1m or 1.4 version with retractable nose gear

Good flight. The Ultrix 600 is like the perfect park flyer. Love the flight time on it too. If I glide and go easy on the throttle it's like almost 10min per battery.

A common saying in aviation is: pitch to airspeed, throttle to altitude. Related, I don't think a lot of people realize the elevator trim trims to an airspeed.

Safe mode is great if used properly. Especially on the UMX. Sometimes, I might fly too high and/or too far way and lose orientation. If that happens, just pop it into safe, peg the throttle, and steer it back. I love the umx ultrix so far. Just got it a few days ago, and have been flying the snot out of it. The Ultrix 600 is definitely on the short list for my next plane for sure.

Nice explanation on why learning with SAFE can be a problem. Most of my first 50 flights on my umx ultrix were in safe and I'm unlearning some bad habits

Got a question. Do you have your CG located behind the recommended CG point. I had on of these and I placed the battery all the way forward, to all the way back and everywhere between. Never found a spot where I could do a high alpha for any amount of time without massive wing rock. I noticed that this one is very CG sensitive. Where was your CG during this video. Let me know please. THANKS.

I think they use flexible pushrods because ones with no play at all will most definitely damage the servo in a nose crash. BTW, what state are you flying in? I'm from AZ and it's a similar landscape (thought I saw some palm trees too). I agree with you on SAFE mode also. It's bad to learn on SAFE. It's a totally different experience out of SAFE mode.

I just got this and setting it up on a opentx as well, what is your channel mapping? I’m guessing it Channel 1, 2 for aileron/elevator, 3 and 4 for motor, and 5 for safe select?
