This plane is the best thing i have ever flown for just hovering in small space. Also capable of high speed and cool maneuvers. Can fly backwards in light breeze, lands itself in stability mode. It seemed pricey for what you get but believe me you won't regret the purchase! Thanks for another great video Brian!

I loved my little UMX Ultrix and I love this larger 600 even more. I fly it more than any of my other airplanes as I can fly it anywhere. Don't have to take a truckload of equipment to my AMA field. And it can do anything I want and it flies forever. I liked this video so much I JUST JOINED YOUR PATREON GROUND CREW! I encourage everyone to support your guys for all of your great content.

Great Video! I'd gladly pay $50 more for the LED kit to come with the plane factory installed. Super easy to add these. I love them on mine. I DO wish these were like the ones on my UMX Ultrix where the red "exhaust" lights are on the back and would help greatly with seeing this as the plane goes away from you. I did see another video about a guy that added the UMX Turbo Timber LED light controller to this plane but it only showed the end result, not how they did it.

I used a small nylon zip tie to guide led under engine nacelle and worked great.

Great Video Brian. I learned that the lights are on a switch from you, so I can enjoy mine even more. (How about a basic installation sheet with light kit, Horizon!). On installation, I used a bent paper clip pushed through the nacelle and then taped the light strip to it and then pulled it back through. Easy.

Ultrix 600mm, what HH did right with reversing a UMX. I have both now with light kits. By far the funnest plane I own.

Probably already been said but I say install a xt30. That what I did and now there more battery options…, , Those ic2 connectors are a PITA. JM2CW keep up the awesome videos 👍

Oh yeah the OPTARA with lights nice.
I'm thinking of buying an OPTARA too.
The LED lights are so sexy when there's ground fog. I have LEDs on my 2m phoenix, with a 9w led eagle eye for tail light..

I honestly believe that Horizon Hobby should have 2 different SKUs on both Ultrix aircraft... Sale one with lights for 15 to twenty USD more depending on the model size and then sale one without the lights at there current market price.

Yeah, I’m a little late to this, but boy is it fun like the UMX version. Did get surprised how far it floats on landing, and you were spot on with the lights not quiet enough in some turning situations (that’s when SAFE shines!)

Had to do the program update on my first Gen smart chargers charge the G2 850mah, the S1500 does work anymore (did it twice), and the S2100 now does not recognize my G1 batteries. Ugh!

(HH support was able to send me the previous charger software, so I went backward on version and then back up to current version. All good now!)

TOTALLY agree!!! "LEDs are a must have for ALL of us"... they really do not cost much more, but it would be nice if all the planes had as many as possible pre-installed (look at the cool UMX Turbo Timber as an example!)

Also, I have the lights on my little UMX Radian, and they are brighter and have more patterns than the lights for the new 600. However, I rarely use them. We don't fly at night here in Florida, BUGS.
