Childhood Patterns Mess Us Up

Patterns: We all live them, repeat them and boy, do they get us into trouble. Often what we do in early childhood we repeat in our adult life. In this episode, Dr Shefali helps two parents become aware of their patterns and how to pivot away from them.

The second case really resonates with myself, we try to parent and fix our partner and, eventually, we get trapped and lost in that mission instead of being focused in ourselves, in our own issues and, also, by being focused in the other we neglect other areas of our lifes without even realising that we are doing that.
