Rep. Liz Cheney Facing Trump-Backed Opponent In Wyoming Primary

Rep. Liz Cheney, who has had a prominent role in the January 6th committee hearings, is facing a Trump-backed challenger in the Wyoming primary tomorrow. Former President Trump has declared Cheney’s re-election campaign to be his top target. NBC News’ Vaughn Hillyard reports that whether Cheney is in or out of office, her focus is to keep Trump from ever entering the White House again.

Trump backed is the driver here. She has left us in the state for months with meaningless responses on our issue. Example, I have been battling the VA over disability with my cancer. When I sent an email requesting assistance, I received an email upon sending it (auto response) that went on about how she understands my concerns with Ukraine. No other communication was received from her office. My other Representatives, within a couple of days assisted me. Thank god they had my back! She is no longer representing the people of the state, and I’m sure in her eyes it’s for greater good. She also is only in the state when she has to be. I would not be surprised if her address in Jackson is nothing more than P.O. Box, or at least an empty apartment. She seems to be more from D.C. then Wyoming. Well, she will not have my support today.
