Everything in this is exactly how I feel, it feels like I’m just a lazy piece of shit and my parents say I have no discipline and that’s why I need to join the military I recently got diagnosed for adhd and things have been really bad recently thank you for making this video it made my day

I recently learned that this is caused by the anxiety experienced by most people with ADHD. I conquered my generalized and social anxiety by telling the feeling of anxiety to "go away" as if it were a person bothering me and my difficulty in motivation went away and my memory improved (though not cured of ADHD). When my anxiety conspires to stop me from acting, I say "go away" and the feeling subsides and I am able to act, whereas before, it blocked me completely. Anxiety is no longer robbing me of energy, and no longer injecting my mind and muscles with fogginess and pain.

This how my mom said what’s what my ADHD means and now I’m just thinking that she doesn’t really know how deal with me and just treats me like I’m supposed to be normal and she just says that I’m just making excuses of my mistakes but sometimes she knows maybe.
