A moment of appreciation for the credits template that was never filled in. Classic ADHD move. 😂

My parents didn't make us do homework. So I just didn't... I didn't need to, I could get by without it. Not excel, but get by.

The dread of not doing the work was a lot, I worried about it all night and stayed up. But, I just couldn't do the work. Just couldn't focus on it.

I know it’s 5 years since you filmed this, but I just want to say thank you. It has helped me in ways I can’t properly verbalize or write.

Really great channel. I'm 28 and struggling with life because of my ADD. These lectures help. I wish more people would be exposed to this.

This is so on point. I have a true passion for sharing this message, because so many people think it's a curse to their kids. I have add and I truly believe it's my super power. Thanks for this video.

All the added tasks with the short term memory. Is the hardest part of ADHD.
Or was for me.
But the slowly learn by experience to learn after learning ways to learn from the mistake which had to burn in the long term memory. Practice practice practice from the mistake. Is a way to grow out from fear of shame

Diagnosed after freshman year of college one year ago and I am STILL coming to terms with this new label stuck to me, while trying to form an identity free of self-stigmatization. This video makes me feel so seen that it almost makes me emotional. I will be rewatching. Thank you for this.

I laughed out loud when you said the part about the school kids having done the homework but its scrunched up in a locker. I laughed because my god its just so accurate, I feel like that one sentence is a metaphor for my whole life. Thanks, absolutely brilliant talk, second time I'm watching it

"An excuse for lazy or bad kids"

This one. My parents pull this one on me. Fingers crossed I can escape it soon.

We didn't have ADD when I was a kid. I mean, some people knew about it, but it wasn't mainstream. I would have given ANYTHING to be able to focus on the mundane classwork.

Since 2016 I believe, it’s categorized under the term “ADD” which still includes AD(HD

I studied medicine and couldnt practise due to lack of attention that happedned 9 years ago and untill two weeks ago i started to think of ADHD as a cause for why i cant hold on a job for a while

Almost all of the feedback that I get at work is negative. It's thought to be helpful, but it's not. I feel the frustration that you feel about not getting credit for everything going on "behind my eyes".
