Mel Gibson calls LA fires ‘devastating’ after losing his own home

Mel Gibson says when he arrived back at his home in Los Angeles, “sure enough, it wasn’t there.” Gibson joins “Elizabeth Vargas Reports” and says “everything was gone,” but the “good news” in all of the wreckage is his family’s safety.

and i feel God instructed
angels to keep Mel as far
away as possible from these
fires, as Mel would have tried
to wade in and fight these fires

oaths of office have been violated...its time to set things straight

Good for you, Mel. I believe your faith based belief is the reason for your attitude. That said, I am truly sorry for your tragic losses and the losses of everybody else who lost so much. We better get to the root of the problem and get the policies responsible fixed. At least perhaps this could have been mitigated if not stopped. Also, how did the fires start? It seems like there may have been some nefarious intentions?

When you have hundreds of millions, not so hard to lose a home. Heck, these rich folk probably just fly off to some other mansion in some other part of the country, or France or on some island and they are home again.

I don't know, possibly no poor live next to these rich people, but I imagine it's not as easy to just shrug it off if you don't have millions in the bank.

That's easy to say when you have all that money. He can just go buy another house, furniture it, get new cars, no problem. People with little money are now in dire straits and don't have the luxury to say, that's all stuff. Saying "that's all stuff" is a luxury to a millionaire." It's not a luxury to someone who doesn't have a place to sleep. Gavin Newsome deserves to be arrested and be thrown in prison for criminal negligence.
