It wasn’t that they weren’t ready, it was that they created a series of conditions that made readiness impossible. Draining reservoirs, no forest management, old obsolete electrical equipment in an area that is susceptible to drought and heat on a regular annual basis. This was not an accident or a natural disaster. This is pure incompetence, greed and DEI.
