i found if you use 120 tooth plywood or platic cutting blades they cut without splitting small miter cuts

Axminster Tools offer a mitre trimmer under the name Axcaliber. It acts as a guillotine, for any angle of cut, left or right. As it shaves off wood it leaves a finished edge. Ideal for picture frames and finish trim, took me about 30 minutes to trim a 15 light door = 120 mitres.

Great ideas. Just what I needed. The other thing. Maybe a zero clearance 45 degree tiny pull saw jig. I'm making tiny crucifies for my church to give away. Ebony, purple heart, coco bolo.... 50 to go of 50! Ok, still organizing a plan.
