One of the best parts about Jay Cutler is he says to not follow your favorite bodybuilders routines to a T and learn what works best for you. He always talked about what he does but never told anyone “this is the real way to build muscle”

This is honestly great advice that I started to pick up on my own. You gotta try out a bunch of different exercises and find the one that connects your muscle activation the best and capitalize on that. Everyone is different. I found that no matter what machine or routine I do, nothing hits my chest like dips and pushups. Idk why, but it's the only way I can get optimal hypertrophy because that's just what works for my body. Listen to advice and try new things, but once you find your thing, hammer it out.

Yeah, I have big legs naturally so I only do a few workouts for them, usually only once a week, and if I have to skip or shorten a day it's always legs cause they just don't need it as much as the rest of my body. But some people do legs 3 days a week and have smaller legs than me. Everybody is different.

I like listening to pro bodybuilders talk about their mindset for training, but thats about it. They are in a completely different position than I am with training style and ability

After working out for a year consistently you will naturally discover what muscles need more stimulus than others. My back needs like half the stimulus of all my other muscles to grow. My legs definitely need a lot more stimulus to grow
