21 DAYS OF STRENGTH | Day 2 - Legs

Welcome to day 2 of my 21 days of strength challenge! Every day for 21 days I'll be posting a strength based workout focusing on a different part of the body. See if you can stay with me for the full 21 days.

Today is a leg day and I've started with a pair of 18kg, I'm going heavy but chose a weight that suits you.

1. Front squats 10-12 reps x 3
2. RDLs 10-12 reps x 3
3. DB reverse lunges 10-12 reps x 3
4. Glute bride 10-12 reps x 3
5. Slow sumo squats 10-12 reps x 3

Hello Joe.
I’ve started this plan. Today’s session was very hard for me however I was spurred on by how hard it looked for you too!
In 2018 I did sign up & complete the 90 day plan. Now I’m 54… enough said!
This programme is a great way to reintroduce strength training in to my day.
Thank you for your generosity for making exercise accessible to folk like me who are happier to exercise at home than in a gym. 😊

I love these workouts. I used to do weightlifting as a teenager. I'm already starting to realize why I loved it so much. Thx for the these new workouts, Joe.

For everyone saying there is too much talking / rest I’d recommend working through the rest periods or doing extra reps. I often start with Joe and I’ll often zoom ahead and whilst the video is catching up I’ll do extra work or take the extra rest if I need it.. It’s a free workout, unfortunately you can’t please everyone, use it as a guideline and build on it. Thanks Joe 😁

Challenging but not a crazy long work out and generous with the rests. This challenge is working so well for me, trying to get back to myself a year post baby and it feels so great to be doing something for myself, highly recommend this, thanks Joe.

Going through this list to alternate between running, and although I run 2-3 times a week I have legs like jelly after this one. Shows how much I need to incorporate strength training alongside running. As always pleasure to work out with you Joe 🙌🏻
