To any ignorant, impetuously responding, & Politically Correct people deeming this to be "racist", try to understand that this is a light-hearted, humourous video. When I came to work in Taiwan, my Taiwanese company showed us this video. There were both westerners & easterners in the room. We all laughed. It was funny to watch. Additionally, my past Taiwanese girlfriends & friends find this funny to watch.

The reason that most modern-day racism exists is for the very reason that some people like to always "play the racism card" - meaning that they like to always call people "racist" all the time without thinking.

If you are one of these people - please learn to GET A SENSE OF HUMOUR!!!

Thank you very much for posting this. As an ESL/accent reduction tutor, I have dual goals--one the one hand, I need to be sensitive to the culture of the people I tutor. On the other hand, I have to help them to do better in America, which means helping them adopt American cultural mores. Its a fine balance. I don't want my students to become upset, but I do have to push their boundaries a little or they won't do well here, which is the goal. My job is a lot of fun. :-)

I think we in the West should definitely embrace the idea of 3 hot meals a day.   That would be awesome.  Although once upon a time that probably WAS the norm in the West, with more home cooking- now ppl are in such a rush that they settle for cold food.  Yuck.

What is East - Iran, Turkey, Siberia, Japan, Dubai, Filipines - all are Very different, there is no one compact East. West is Sicily, Norway, Poland, France, Serbia, Switzerland, USA - there is no monolithic West.
