If you are considering a trip to India this video is a must watch in the name of research. In the course of my travels, I've spent a lot of time in India and have been left culture-shocked by the differences in our daily lives. This video explains 9 of those differences that stood out to me the most.

Cultural difference is important according to me because without cultural difference world is boring....its like you see same color everyday...different culture is just like different kind of colours...☺☺

I am an Indian and I totally disagree with a few points here. Coughing, burping, farting in public is NOT considered as OK. It is considered the worst thing one can do in the public. Also, it is perfectly OK to hold hands or touch your partner in public, Kissing and hugging too much is not common though in small cities but in metros it is common nowadays.

Yes,
No sorry, No Thankyou in friendship.
Philosophy behind this is " in friendship two people accepts, positive, negetive every aspect of each other. Because no one is perfect in this world.
🙏🙏

In India family is very important. The marriage is not just between a boy a girl . It is between families.

benefits of eating with hand
1- intake of appropriate amount of food in the mouth
2- intake of food at right temperature in the mouth
3- no metallic taste because there is no spoon
4- beneficial for health because when someone curl his fingers to pick up food he is giving himself acupressure therapy

I like the way you explained the eating ways especially your observation on 'please and thanks' on friendship. Amazing! But partially don't agree on PDA. We do hold hands but no hugs or kisses. Good video. By the way, I will not say 'Thanks' to you. Hope you understood.

The last one was very well expressed. I think something needs to be added to your video. Indian guy friends are close to each other like toching frequently and holding hands(for a second but with a pure straight heart not gay) when they first see each other after a long time.

Hello ma’am...yes there are huge cultural differences....but most of cultures in India has scientific and spiritual background which is good...today or tomorrow world wide people will be forced to follow those good culture...like right now people around the Globe greeting others with Namaste 🙏 instead of shaking hand because of Covid-19..lastly I respect all the culture from different countries from bottom of my heart ❤️

Behind every culture, there will be a great reason. So Indian culture is not just few 100 years old... It has it's culture roots which dates back to 6000 years.
1. Marriages
2. Eating habits
3. Praying
4. Agriculture
5. Medicine
6. Science
7. Surgery
8. Education
9. Spirituality
10. Yoga
11. Languages
12. Mathematics
13. Festivals

If i keep on mentioning points like this it will take many years to explain, that why Indian culture is so great & vast to understand.

Ireland is just a small happy country with hardly
1. 2-3 distinctive languages
2. 50-60 variety of main dishes (Food)
3. 4-5 Major festivals...

Like this... BUT

In India there is one phrase

"To know one country/kingdom you should travel across it's lands (miles together), and read millions of books about that land"

So i hope in your next video, if you can do some homework on knowing actual things it would be better

You really have a good understanding of Indian culture. I am especially amazed by your explanation about not talking while eating and being considered similar to praying...we have a hymn which says 'consider eating equivalent to a pooja/yagna karma and do not forget to thank God before eating''🙏

My grandma got married at 13 to a cocaine and alcohol addict, it's a problem. The pressure to get married and get married young is real. Parents can start looking to get their daughters wedded off as soon as they're in college and be deemed socially acceptable. Also, a large reason arranged marriages have a lower divorce rate is because of the stigma around it. It’s usually really hard for people to get remarried after a divorce so a lot of women choose to stay with an abusive partner rather than commit social suicide.

How come this video got recommended to me after 1.5 years. Anyway I wanted to ask about tanning. Is tanning done for beauty purpose or is it done just to take care of your skin?
In India skin whitening is done as a part of beautification. White skin is cherished as beautiful by many people. Nowadays the perception is changing. Recently Indian government has made it illegal to the sale of goods which are used for skin whitening.
