Realtime video of the SpaceX Starlink satellite train with some beautiful flaring, taken at 23:03 UTC on May 26, 2019 in the UK with a Canon EOS 5D Mark IV and 50mm f/1.8 lens. Shutter speed 1/25 sec. ISO 102400. Noise reduced with Neat Video.

On 24 May 2019, SpaceX launched the first 60 satellites of "Starlink". They are currently fairly close to each other and visible to the naked eye as a line of lights in the sky, but over time they will gradually drift apart and become much less obvious.

One of the best Starlink video on YouTube.

Saw this last night(3.5.20, 7pmish) in Ft. Collins CO...it's the first satellite train, I've ever seen with the naked eye. Very cool!!

When I saw this I was terrified and started shaking wondering if I was gonna like get bombed or something. I then called a hotline telling them what I saw and they thought I was a prank call. A week later they heard about spacex’s launch and called me back to apologize. Haha

Strange how this existed 7 months ago, never even heard about it until now. people spotted it here in Canada, the lights were spread further apart though

Imagine you're me. It's almost 7 a.m. The sky is just turning blue. You park at home from a long night of work. You look up into the sky not ever knowing anything about satellite trains. . . how would you react?

Just had the privilege of seeing this in person 3/6/2020 Denver Colorado. It didn't give me an easy feeling.

This video is as good as the other one you uploaded (capture at dusk). Two great captures. Thank you for sharing with us.

This is a very cool footage, really nice you caught the flares there! Unique chance I would say. Thanks for sharing the specs too, I have tried these days to do the same thing, filming Starlink train from here and I have to say, doing this is quite challenging and you have to push the camera to the max in order to catch something on video. I have used a Sigma 50mm f/1.4 Art lens, which is quite good at 1.4, but pushing the ISO to Hi2(51200) I got pretty bad noise( some red and dynamic mostly). I saw that 5DMk4 does that too. I have managed to reduce the noise in post processing and bumped a bit the highlights. I have both versions on my channel, with the "dancing" red noise and the processed one. Have a look if you like. I will try to look next chance for better conditions, with a bit of blue sky if possible. Cheers!

If I'd seen this in the sky, without knowing what it was, I would've thought I'd seen alien spaceships flying past.

Anyone who were to wind up seeing this at night with zero clue about Starlink would easily think the world and life as we know it is about to change forever. I seriously would have thought that we were about to make one hell of a contact.

i know they are individual satellites but if you imagine they are reflexive surfaces on a ring-megastructure orbiting Earth... feels really trippy!

I'm more astonished by the iso because I'm used to a canon 550d which has a max of 6400.
And at 6400 dark is only noise

You got very lucky, I never got reflected light from the solar panels, only scattered light from the antennas.
This will be even more impressive with V2 satellites since the antennas have a mirror finish, but once they have the right angle they should reflect light away from Earth and be completely invisible.

Saw this last night in South west Victoria, Australia
Small country town... Everyone was on the phone trying to work out if we were being invaded by an army or aliens... Or an army of aliens 😆
Luckily cooler heads prevailed, and Google
Imagine what tribes on the Amazon or Papa new guinea would think
